My guess is the thumbs down are for it being a cheap no name Chinese brand.

We've got a different brand of this, but functionally identical, next to our coffee machine and snacks at work. It's been working wonderfully for about a year now. No more fruit flies from customers leaving shit all over the place in the waiting area.

Got 2 for $18.88 each via S&S; thanks OP. I chose S&S to give me some time to change my mind in case I decide it is cheap overpriced junk laugh out loud Seems useful and decent though...

The one I have works fairly well. It will catch some of the Asian Tiger mosquitos we get inside, although if anyone is in the room, the mosquitos will target them instead. It's good at catching fruit flies.

Mixed reviews online. I was about to buy one 2 weeks ago but chose not to. Hard not to give it a try at this price.
