So I picked up AX6200 Nighthawk Wifi 6 router from Costco with that -$100 off so it was $200.

Now that this is $100 I'm wondering if I should return it and save the extra $100?

Do any of you have experience using either of these routers or both?

Thanks in Advance!
if you dont have any devices that use Wifi 6 and dont plan to buy new devices with wifi 6 then you wont see much benefit in your situation having the Netgear router.
if it doesnt worry you that TP link hasnt provided newer firmware updates since 2019 and you are willing to risk it, to save $100 then good luck.

I also bought the Netgear RAX78 from costco at $200
I have been using it for 4 weeks now. the range on the wifi 5 signal isnt impressive, but I like it so far.
for the price, you get alot ( new wifi technology, tri band, and new wifi security standard WPA3)
currently I dont own any wifi 6 devices, but it has worked good so far, without issues.
the thing that I learned with this new router, if you enable WPA3 security instead of WPA2 some older devices wont be able to connect.

I dawdled and missed this the last time it was at this price. Not making that mistake this time. Just pulled the trigger.

I've got one of these and it's been working flawlessly.

I replaced the linksys velop 3 node mesh with this one from Costco. So far works amazing, no drops or intermittent connections issues. Only cons I have is the third 5g band suddenly just vanishes and comes back frequently. But two bands work flawlessly so far for a 1gbps connection.

This happens with TP-Link routers. I own an Archer C2600) and have been trying to troubleshoot. Their tech support dropped me like a hot potato after noting it was out of warranty.

Usually it just loses 5GHz. Other times, all WiFi is just gone. Rebooting router fixes, until next time be it a week or several months.

This problem has been reported in multiple TP-Link models.

My TP Link A2300 (not to be confused with the C2300 sold on Amazon) just crapped out last week. At first, only the 5Ghz network stopped working, but the next morning the 2.4Ghz network also stopped working. Rebooting, resetting, and power cycling hasn't revived it so now it's a paperweight. It only lasted 3 years, but I got it cheap enough ($35 Walmart clearance special) that I'm not too upset about it.

I was on the fence between buying this C4000 or the Belkin RT3200 (identical to Linksys E8450) straight from their website [belkin.com] for $99. Ultimately, I decided the C4000 would fit my needs better. I don't have any devices that can use 802.11ax anyways.

Pulled the trigger this time after much deliberation. For people who own this, I have a question: can we setup the two 5 ghz streams on separate channels or they both need to be on the same channel?

The first 5GHz stream can only be set to channel 36 through 48. The second stream channel can only be set to 149 through 165. Here's a picture of my settings page.
