Can someone explain to me why you can't name a certain green website?
The website is banned on Slickdeals and the mods will eventually get around to deleting posts mentioning it. I'm going to assume it's banned because Slickdeals prohibits referral links, and that website uses them.
Nope still blurry. I couldn't even sell the thing on Facebook without people chiming in on the blurry 4K/120. Buyer beware.
Also even the Sony 2021 models do not have VRR/ALLM out of the box. Watch out for those Sony "promises" of features coming in future updates.
PS4 does not and never had VRR yet is sold over 140+ million systems...... PS5 doesn't and probably never will support VRR either.......
VRR is something really not used for console gaming and more for PC Gamers. No question of a doubt I would buy the Sony 900 at this size. 85" is massive and this is a very good tv for quality/cost
I bought one and it was delivered 4 days ago. Very impressed so far. Have it hooked up to a gaming pc with a 3080 and it's just awesome. The Android UI is fantastic and works as well or better than my nvidia shield. Very happy with my purchase.
So which is a better tv. I am torn between this and the 86" costco XBR model that is also around same price? Leaning towards Costco for better warrenty.

They're the exact same TV with the exact same warranty.

This is already at $2K? Sheesh. Did they not get the 4K blurry gaming thing ironed out?
This is the most I could get out of the Slickdeals crew in terms of a reason: https://slickdeals.net/f/14825752-resolved-can-we-get-a-clear-cut-answer-from-slickdeals-about-urlhasbeenblock

That's only a better deal if you don't care about the warranty.
