It's a bluetooth transmitter. You turn on shuffle and random from your phone.

I purchased a different model, same brand, of their FM Bluetooth transmitter a few months back. Used it a handful of times, and it didn't sound too bad in my older car. Unfortunately the power switch, not found on this model, stopped responding on the 6th use, and so it is now off and useless. This is a switch they advertised as useful for turning off after each use. Overall looks nice, but kind of feels cheap as far as heft and buttons. Just wanted to share my experience with this brand.

Went ahead and got one. The three ports including 18W PD is what sold me.

It plays mp3 files directly from USB drive. It would be great if it could play them randomly.

Agreed. Needs random/shuffle on "U Disk" (USB) mode.

Yeah Guilty. I am a VicTsing fanboy. I bought the other model back in Feb. No USB player. Works like a champ. My only problem is in and around a big city there are so many low power not to mention pirate FM stations it's hard to find an open frequency to tune to.
I have paired it to both an iPod and an Android based phone for Sirrus XM play and it sounds great over my '06 OEM JBL premium sound system. The QC3.0 is a nice bonus if your phone supports it.
