Thanks OP, in for 2!!!

I'm hoarding the old Xbox One controllers since they made the One X/S controllers *ever* so slightly smaller, they aren't as comfortable in my gorilla hands for long periods of time. Smilie

Exactly! Son uses this controller for Mobile games; he's a Big Boy.

But have you googled how to boil and eat your sneakers?

Wrong thread buddy. Nobody cares about your tangents. Some people want these controllers as it's a good price and they have the good textured buttons on back

Great deal. In for one thanks.

I have the shock blue version of this and it has really good build quality.
It does drain battery very fast and had disconnection problems at first.
I updated the firmware which is supposed to fix the connection issue, then I discovered I can simply connect with an USB-C cable without even using batteries.

I like it a lot using a long USB-C cable. That solves both the battery drain and connection stability. I am using it with a PC which might have more issues according to certain reviews. Your experience could be different if you use it with Xbox One or iPad/Android tablets.

I had used Logitech F310 for years as a cheap solution but the buttons are simply not as comfortable as the Xbox controllers. I also considered F710 which is cheaper but has no wired option. If you only use wirelessly you may consider F710 which is only $30 on Amazon right now or via Chromebook perks.

Also, I was able to save an extra $5 using the free gift card from Microsoft a few days ago.
If you have it you may want to use it up as it does have an expiration date.

you're right, these are the superior older version that's more comfortable in the hands. also who cares about ble. these aren't phones you have to charge everyday. 1 pack of battery last a good month. with recharging it's basically a non issue

these don't have USB-C, if you have disconnecting problems you must have the newer version that is slightly smaller as well

Or use an micro-usb cord to power it......... It works nicely with a PC, to me at least.

A few months ago, I bought the new Xbox controller for the same price. It is better. For the same price, I recommend getting the new version.

Does that apply to using the MS adapter for PC? I ask because the Bluetooth is worthless on PC. Don't even bother. Unless if you want limited range, no headset or accessories, input lag and one controller max

I have the boule camo version of this thing thats probably newer and the BT is great for iPad but not for PC. Just get the Xbox adapter and thank me later
I have nothing but issues with the new controllers on both of my PCs I game on. This is a great deal for me. I can recharge my AA batteries and keep them around as I always have.

Get it. But again if you're using it for PC make sure you have the adapter. It's so nice for an everything controller
Any recommendations on where to get one at a good price? TIA!
