Been looking for grill deals myself. Not the best but just decent. The commercial / tru-infrared grills have upsides and downsides of having the infrared plates so reading reviews will definitely help.

I looking into it, seem like the price is very good for the grilling quality, but look like it needs more attention and care than normal grates.

Oh, the 10 years warranty is not cover the fire pit area, but I saw 1 set of grate and infrared metal like $29 or something, don't remember exactly.

Seems like all of the 5 star reviews are from people who got it for free in exchange for a review, and all of the non-promo reviews are horrible.

My experience is similar to the bad reviews - it doesn't get *nearly* hot enough. It struggles to hold 500 with all four burners on full blast. If you open it a couple of times to turn or flip your steaks or burgers it will be down to 350 pretty fast. I thought it was a faulty regulator so they shipped a replacement which I had to disassemble nearly the entire thing to install, and it made no difference. You're better off putting the $200 toward something better.

There's a similar NexGrill on sale at HD for $179 and more/reliable reviews, but it's quite a bit smaller unfortunately.

Heard from a friend and read reviews that parts are very easy to replace. However, price of the infrared plates and the porcelain grills are pretty high.

I had a smaller charbroil in the past.
It cooked very uneven and the grill grates (same as these) rust very easily.
I had the grill on a porch with a roof and a grill cover on it.
The grates would only last 3 or 4 months before getting really rusty.
Charbroil would replace them under warranty but I had to pay shipping which I think was $12.00.
The grill also cooked very unevenly and did not have enough heat to properly cook a steak
I waited till I found a good deal on a weber and after I bought it the charbroil went in the garbage.
The weber cooks really evenly and the grates are now a year old and in perfect condition.
The weber also gets to 600 degrees in like 5 minutes.

I got the Weber three burner for $250.00 (Thanks to Slickdeals)
Its worth every penny and comes with a ten year complete warranty.

Just drill the orifices to convert to natural gas.

Drill the orifices to convert. Could you elaborate on that? Boyfriend made a mistake bought a propane grill and we need natural gas.

I bought the previous gen version of the 5+1 during the sale last Dec, for $125 or so. Looks pretty much identical except for black accents, and it didn't have this "Chef's Delite" tray. I was hoping with 5 burners instead of my old 4 burner grill I could use less burners, but even with all 5 going, it struggles to get hotter than 450. Open the grill to flip the meats and you'll lose heat, and have to cook longer. For the price I'm very satisfied, but yea it doesn't do a great job getting hot.

You drill or purchase the correct burner orifices for natural gas and remove the propane regulator.

Can you please share which Weber grill you ended up purchasing?
