For those wondering on T-Mobile, it will get their MMwave 5G, but not the useful low and mid-band 5G. I would absolutely pass if I was in a 5G T-Mobile area. I am, and I'm passing.

If it's similar to the T-Mobile version (-UW) then it should work fine on Cricket. To get VoLTE to work you'll need to give Cricket an old Cricket phone that supports this. I did this through chat and basically said my device isn't showing up online so I gave them the IMEI of a Moto 7 I had which was Cricket branded and as soon as they updated it then it worked. Same goes for data speeds, since One Plus 8 isn't supported they don't support hotspot and that plan is limited to 8MB speeds. As soon as they made the switch of the IMEI I was full speed ahead. Hope this helps someone whether it be this device or another unsupported Cricket device.

But keep in mind One Plus support is horrible. I have the OP8 and OP8 Pro and as soon as I sell them I'll never go back. Great phone but when you try to get support to help that is a nightmare.

I learned the hard way that this phone will not work on cricket. It's compatible in every way but it will not activate because it's not on their HD voice whitelist.
