ordered this last time this deal was on.. Samsung took my money, said it would be available in ~5 weeks, then said they can't ship to my address. It's been over a week since then and they still haven't refunded the payment.

Samsung won't verify my ID.me Military Discount; it looks like I have to have use same email address on ID.me as on my Samsung Account; even creating a new account... seems unless I match my ID.me email address to same as ordering on my account... it won't allow me to purchase with discount at all! SUPER FRUSTRATING AS I CANNOT ACCESS that email from my location... any ideas? Thanks ✌️

Samsung couldn't verify my ID if I order thru urlhasbeenblocked, but It worked without urlhasbeenblocked. Not sure if that was you case.

Open an Incognito window on Google chrome and it will give you an option for the discount before you even enter your email

This may be a silly question but I was a few years behind in tech until this year. How common is it for devices to come with USB-C to USB-C cables?

This power bank has one USB-A and two USB-C ports. I have a Tab S7+, GW3, GWA, S21+, Buds Live, and an iPhone 12 pro and the only one that came with USB-C on the input side is the iPhone. The rest all have USB-A to C.

Almost seems like it would've been better to have two of the A and one of the C, just going by Samsung's latest generation of products.

Samsung is weird, my note 10+ came with a usb-c to usbc charger and that's older than your s7+. .

I have someone in my family that works for a school and let's me use their Samsung account for the discounts plus I have an edu account with my old college email.

Theirs shows up as EPP and mine shows up as EDU. However, from what they've told me, their employee benefits portal advertises the Samsung discount and has a link that they had to click through to set up the account.

That being said, I think they don't really verify it anyway unless you are purchasing laptops.

Another way is to create an account with Plum Benefits or a similar site and then click through to Samsung from there.

Got mine 2 days ago after weeks of waiting. I charged it for 16 hours and it went from 25% to 75%. That seems quite a bit long for me to only get 50%. I shipped out back yesterday and will just buy Anker or something else for a bit more money.
