Since I just looked this up due to the Samsung power bank thread, I just want to say that 30000 mah might not be allowed when it comes to international travel. From what I read, 27000 mah seems to be the most that many international airlines will allow, although they calculate it by watt hours not mah.

Not sure about domestic travel though.

Also, I've personally never heard of this brand and when it comes to batteries, IMO it's better to play it safe and go with a trusted brand, even if you end up paying a bit more.

Agree with everything you say. The limit on airlines is usually 100Wh which is 27,000mah. Not sure if that ever actually gets checked, but it's probably not worth the extra 3,000mah to possibly have to leave it behind at an airport.

This product has been discussed multiple times here before. You can get pre approval to take this on flights. Also, I have 2 of these since 2020 September and so far held up well. Drinking out of a drum with a straw is the analogy someone mentioned before.

what brand battery are inside? LG, Samsung or Panasonic? Any other brand is just cheap Chinese brands with less 100 recharge cycles. Can't find any tear down video for Romoss

Lots of negative reviews about weakness of the unit not near 30,000 and also the type C connector not working well.

Too many for me to consider buying this battery.

What would you think they'd put in a bank that sells for $23? Don't expect any brand names. And don't expect it to have the rated capacity.
