Yeah it's a pretty good deal. I'm still waiting a bit longer for further anticipated price reduction. I would recommend getting two so you may play in stereo.

Yea I've been watching for a while, there was a good deal on 2 of these a few weeks back but I missed it. Why would you need 2 for stereo? I have a few other google products and was thinking of pairing all of them for audio coverage around the home.
depends on the size of your room, but it really makes a difference. even one is a huge step up from the og home though

You need to pair 2 speakers in order to have stereo. If you don't pair speakers it will only be mono play from multiple speakers.
Strongly agree. Didn't think it'd make much of a difference but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality in stereo mode. Can't imagine going back. Only issue, at least for me is that whatever I'm playing cuts out on one side of the speakers every few minutes for about 2 seconds. (More so when streaming over BT, less so over WiFi). Could be annoying for some, no regrets here.
