Yankees model is about as ugly as the product they are putting on the field these days. Was at the game last night, this watch would have come in handy as it felt like time was moving in slow motion.

MLB tv viewer numbers are way down as is swag so no surprise stores are discounting heavily. Same with NBA.

I went to a game when they were the California Angels and Jim Abbott was on the team. I wish I never used the autographed ball I got during that game. Had autographs from the whole team at the time (was in 1992 or 1991 I think).

Viewer numbers are an archaic way to measure popularity. Streaming services (both legal and illegal) are not accounted for, so the only people that use viewer numbers as a reference are the people the MLB no longer care about, 55+ age group

The whole pro sports industry took a big hit with covid and then listening to a multimillionaire players whine and preach has alienated a large section of their fan base. I've moved to watching college games. We have the Kings here and they have to give away tickets to get people in.
