It says on the Amazon Explore page that you can ask your guide to buy stuff and ship it to you. I saw this video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjmGH_SHK9c) the other day showing plenty of stock for both nVidia and AMD GPU's in Taipei stores. So I booked a session on Amazon Explore for a tour of Ximending shopping district. I'm going to ask my host to buy me an RTX 3080/3090 or two (depending on the price) and ship it to me. I wonder if anyone here has tried that (purchased a GPU overseas and had it shipped to the States). Do I have to pay the 25% tariff and/or other duties?

This could be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. Sure if it's 'free' go for it, but who in God's name would pay $40-60 for these 'experiences'? Unreal.

The only way this would even make sense is in "VR".

Not really. There's plenty of virtual cooking classes for similar prices

I'm as critical of Amazon as anyone, but for someone who is housebound or otherwise unable to travel, I think this might be nice.

I feel like you can accomplish this for free on YouTube. When cardboard VR came out the second thing I watched was someone with a gopro strapped on them wandering the streets of Rome.

Pretty cool for free though.

Here's a better experience: Go outside. It's free and you don't need a promo code.

You can already have any of these "experiences" for free. It's called youtube.

I guess it's an OK idea but probably wouldn't be viable to schedule to use in a classroom... Too many tech problems, internet is unstable (lol), etc

gonna stick with virtual youtube tours

So when you're watching a YouTube video you can interact with the people in the video? Ask them questions, ask them to do or focus on something, talk with locals in the video? I don't think so. Whether or not this appeals to you, it's far more than a YouTube video.

Don't understand the hate... I get to see some sloths in costa rica up close for free from my couch.
You don't need to go to Costa Rica to see that, just come to my work. The Sloths are everywhere and come in many different shapes and sizes. They really are something to marvel at.
