Direct Tools Factory Outlet has the Ridgid shop blower / leaf blower for $49 shipping is $7 via fedex. $56 out the door!
This is the factory blemish model, so it is new and does qualify for LSA. I even called Ridgid to confirm.
Compare this to the Special Buy at Home Depot for $79 makes this an awesome price!

But yes, no battery... I love the blower though. Works excellent for debris in garages and such. Not designed for heavy leaves though.
Lawn, not so good for leaves.

After you complete your LSA, you will contact ridgid power tools here:
https://register.ridgid
They will give you instructions on what to do. I wish I had a better answer but it really depends. (I have read answer that go all over the place) I had fan that was dead on arrival from DTO, and they had me contact ridgid at the above link, and after I described the problem, they just sent me a new one, and let me keep the broken one. I have also heard they will make some people take them to a home depot, and sometimes to an "authorized repair center" home depot so they can take a look at it (This makes some people very upset especially if they are not near one of these "special" home depots). It really depends.
Ridgid will try to upgrade you though. For example if you have an older octane 3 ah battery that they no longer make, then they will upgrade you to the new 4ah max output battery (confirmed by most youtubers who have called ridgid about this)
My question is what do they do when they don't have the upgrade, or anything to replace it with? I don't know what they do then other then tell you sorry... Like the old 18V HYBRID UPRIGHT AREA LIGHT. They don't make anything like it anymore, but is has the LSA... I guess they will just replace it with some other light as best they can.
Or cleaning up a job site, and blowing it all into a corner so you could vacuum it up. That would be faster then sweeping. It just depends. and at this price, even though it is lower performing, it might be just right for some people.
