The top of the case spins and covers the headphones.

Fakespot is a rating of reviews not product quality.

I don't think it is open case. See the pictures in the review. Looks like there is a cover over the open section that slides in and out

Speaking from experience, do not get these. They are terrible. Seems like 1st gen wireless earbud technology because the sound quality constantly stutters.

Nice! In for a pair. Have AirPods and Bose QC35 for use with my iPhone, but Im thinking for $20 these will be perfect for a dedicated wireless earbud for my Nintendo Switch Lite w/ Bluetooth adapter! Or maybe with the Oculus Quest 2.
I've not had good luck with various ear pods and my Quest 2 whether I use a link or not. I've tried off-brand, Samsung and Jabra and all had a lag in varying amounts. No problem with wired earphones or buds however.

I just ordered VANKYO and its coming on tomorrow and I will check how it works and wait before I order this one.
I just need some cheap one for backup.
My main buds is Samsung Galaxy buds live.

Hard No! Stay away as the microphone is terrible and it is useless for any kind of call. Aukey sent me another one after I complained, and it has the same issue.

wireless has lag, so if you don't mind that then you can.
Really?! I had no idea. All this time I've been looking for wireless for my son to use and based on what you posted wired is the way to go. Is that right?

Jim's Review Room on YouTube rated these highly. I bought these based on the review over a year ago. Can only use right side on its own. Getting them in/out of the case can be a bit cumbersome as they have to come out at an angle. Sound quality is pretty good for music in my use. Has USB C and touch controls and a case battery indicator.

for games? Wired for sure, for watching movies and stuff it is usually fine. VLC even has a way to delay the video to get it in sync just for this reason.

Imo. Aukey is second tier low cost chinesium behind anker but not by far. Vankyo falls a step further down in that random "generic" chinesium category.

Just as a generalization. I would expect the aukey to perform closer to advertised spec, last longer, and at least give a small chance ofncustomer support if needed

Wanted to jump in the conversation here. In the early morning, I ordered Vankyo x200. Then I ordered these earbuds and canceled the x200 order. The reason being is that I looked at the reviews at Amazon. It seems a majority of reviews of x200 that mention call quality indicate that the earbuds are not for calls. On the other hand, Aukey buds seem good for calls. I need buds for calls.
