I wonder how loud this is. I'm looking for something close to brown switches.

Not as loud because these are the speed caps which have little resistance. I like the feel of brown but they only made this keyboard color with reds. I have a k95 plat but use this one only because of its color.

They are about the same if not a little softer than browns noise-wise. They do not have a tactile bump though, so if you're used to typing on browns and the actuation click, you may find yourself typing with a lot of errors until you get used to the speed switches. They feel like shorter throw and less resistance to me too. I bottom out the keys a lot more than I did on browns, which contributes to the noise factor. It took me about 2-3 weeks of typing to feel comfortable with the speed switches. After that my error rate is back to normal and noise went down a little from not hammering the keys so much.

Went from a Logitech G710+ with browns to this exact keyboard.

I also came from the G710+ haha. I like the speed better but that was a great keyboard too!

There's a bit of a learning curve if you are used to mechanical keyboards with larger travel and a discernible clicking feel, but I love this keyboard. I find the sound of the keys to be very satisfying as opposed to annoying, and no one in my family has complained like they would with the other mechanical keyboards I've had. My only complaint is in the bizarre cable. It's like a firehose and it's really annoying on my desk. What was Corsair thinking? The fact that I didn't take off stars for that seriously annoying cable is a testament to how much I like the rest of the keyboard.

I'm using this keyboard right now and I love it. I strongly recommend it to people at full price, so on sale I say go for it.

I had heard that it's great for gaming (which it is), but my only concern was whether typing would be comfortable on the speed switches. It takes a bit of getting used to, but after the adjustment period I think it's fantastic. The USB pass-through is handy, and I use the media keys and volume wheel way more often than I expected to.

My only minor complaint is the font on the keys is a little "gamer-y" for my taste, but obviously that's down to personal preference. And the white/silver color scheme looks fantastic.
