Wish the 2 in 1 version had these same specs. That one starts off with an i5 and 8GB RAM. Anyone know the screen brightness? I was at Bestbuy yesterday and they had the 15 inch and 17 inch 2 in 1 and the 17 inch screen was quite a bit better. Probably 300 nits vs 250 I'm guessing. For sure made a difference.

Just noticed a complete refresh on the Inspiron line. The 15 inch release is May 4 so this is an older model. I know we lose the AMEX deal by waiting so it's a tough call. I'd rather wait and see what they're going to offer. AMD fans should definitely wait.

White on silver keyboard does not work with backlighting. Seems to have other problems as well according to reviews.

Pass.

At least both slots of DDR are usable not soldered.

Would be real nice if it did! But considering the 15 inch Dell 2 in 1 starts at $842 online with an i5, I doubt whatever they bought has the same specs as OP's deal. I've never seen a Dell 15 inch at Costco, so it would be interesting to see what 2 in 1 they purchased. I'm guessing it was a 14 inch model.
