Create a MoviesAnywhere account and connect your Google, iTunes, Vudu and Microsoft account etc to MoviesAnywhere. And then purchase this.

This purchase will then show up in all other connected accounts. Since your Google account is connected to MoviesAnywhere (MA) it will show up in your Google TV app library and then you can stream directly.
Incorrect more like 30-40 minutes longer for extended
I believe there is only one edit. Jackson spent 2020/2019 sometime working on re-color-correcting the films for the 4K releases. I don't know of an "unedited" uhd version and pretty sure that doesn't exist. It's also 4am and I'm half asleep right now so I might not be thinking clearly haha.

I wouldn't mind that for the LoTR movies, but for The Hobbit, no way. Those movies were already long enough. The last Hobbit movie was bearable in it's length, but the first two were extremely tedious to get through.

We are both off:
The extended edition of An Unexpected Journey clocks in at 183 minutes long (13 minutes of additional footage) and the extended cut of The Desolation of Smaug is 186 minutes long (25 minutes of additional footage).
Looks like Battle of Five Armies is 20 minutes longer.

You were right the first time for LOTR. The Hobbit extended versions have less content (thankfully)...

The Fellowship of the Ring contains 30 minutes of additional footage (plus 20 minutes of Fan Club Credits).
The Two Towers contains 44 minutes of additional footage (plus 12 minutes of Fan Club Credits).
The Return of the King contains 51 minutes of additional footage (plus 12 minutes of Fan Club Credits).

$19.99 for just LoTR UHD Extended. I agree completely. Never watched BOTFA due to movie bloat.

Is this Peter Jackson's 4K edit? Or just the unedited extended in UHD? Is there a difference?
These are Peter Jackson's version. If you hunt through the last deal when this was posted I spent two days trying to figure it out. Eventually I just purchased these and did a frame comparison between the different versions. These are legit.

I purchased the UHD version, can not download UHD, Just HD and SD, I would not recommend.
No provider allows UHD downloads except on kaleidescape.
That's not a reason to recommend against as most people only stream these.

The hobbit movies are worth watching in 3D if you have that option. The 3D is really good and make them more fun in my opinion.
