30 minutes of waiting, 2 minute chat with "Erik S" who gave me a code. Used right away for a computer that was already on discount of $150. So for those wondering, it can be combined with another offer.

Kristen S gave me a code. Just normal conversation. No reason needed. Just asked and was given. Granted, I wasn't that lucky couple of hours ago. Seeing the luck of so many at this hour, I tried one last time before giving up and it worked. But 30-40 minutes is a lot of waiting if you are not already doing something on the computer.

I contacted their customer service via chat and they were able to create a discount code for me.

I didn't get the code. I tried the chat this morning and was politely rejected. I tried the chat again this afternoon and they issued me a code almost immediately (... after the ~30 min or so waiting in the queue)
