Somewhat related: what site do you guys find the most helpful with finding good card deals and vacation deals?
I'm familiar with ft, tpg, millionmilesecrets, and a few others but they all seem to take more time than they should. Maybe there is a good subreddit? Or deal alert in here?

Doctor of Credit for cards. They don't push cards for commissions like TPG and other blogs do.

I noticed Marriott points seem to diminish in value quickly. I tried to book a hotel in Cambridge MA which now requires 60k points when it was 35k last year and for many years prior. It seems Marriott likes the idea of inflation. I have several million points which are worth way less today then when I earned them a few years ago.

So you can only have one Marriott personal card. It will tell you that you are ineligible for bonus during sign up.. So unless you have the business amex the answer is no unfortunately.

You are also limited to one Marriott welcome bonus every 24 months.

Can we close the amex card and then apply for this one to get the bonus? Will the free night certificates will lost due to this?

Since both the cards(annual fee and without annual fee) offer 15 night credit annually , did you only have to stay 10 more nights to get gold elite? Since gold Elite requires 25 night stay.

Yes, you'd need 10 nights to make Gold if you have the card. There was a recent promotion to earn double nights per stay (ended on the 28th, I think), as an example of how you can do it for less. However, Gold isn't all that great - the real bonuses start at Platinum now (50 nights).

I wonder if I can upgrade my Bonvoy Card to this and still get the 100,000? I got the card last year and received 30,000 points from that bonus.

Anyone know if the annual fee can be refunded if $3,000 spend is met on the first bill, then the card paid off an cancelled? Folks claim that works on the Chase Southwest RR card.
