Important distinction when choosing LED lights in general. You need dedicated white LEDs to create any kind of warm/cool white that you would expect from a bulb. Look for RGBWW and they'll usually add $20 to the price of the item.

Hmm. I have an extra amazon plug that I could potentially use with this. Does anyone know if you unplug it while it's on, if you plug it back in will it turn on to its previous state?

The Govee warm white light strips and twinkle lights do that, but I'm not sure about these. These likely do, but I can't say for sure.

I bought the WiFi/Bluetooth version of a Govee light strip and it is a significant downgrade from my hue strips. It cannot produce white light, instead it comes out as sky blue. You get what you pay for.

These things look cool but I don't know what I'd do with it. Are you guys just using this as bias lighting for your tv or other things as well? Under kitchen counters? Bedroom sexy time? Convince me to blow $12 please.

We have them up in our gym room. Wife loves them. Teenager lined her bedroom with them and leaves them on red all the time.
