15% off + 10% off totals 23.5% off, not 25% off.

As for the CTR vs F40 comparision...the CTR beats the F40 lap times. Perfect example towards my argument actually An economy model beating out the "super car".

There's no zip to enter. There's only a drop down menu to select the state for HM retailers.

Nvm, I found the place to enter zip. But I still don't see the business listed as a retailer.

They are definitely authorized as I have bought an Embody from them and worked with Jin also (but in a different state).

I got the embody thru SDer here who help setup initial contact with a recognized seller. Got my Embody for less than $1k.
Can you please send me info as well? Thanks in advance!

This is $629 on Amazon and not on sale. Is this a slick deal? Am I missing anything?
Looks like it opened box and some bad reviews left on them.

My brother gave me this chair in 2010. As of 2019 I've been in the 300lb range(I'm working on it). This chair is super comfortable even after 11+ years. I have it in my room and use it while gaming, its totally worth it. It doesnt have any tears or anything .

Odd for it to happen now, but at the beginning of the pandemic I bought an absolutely brand new Leap V2 fully loaded from some guy's garage for $400. He had like 6 all brand new and knew a lot about chairs, and said he was in charge of furnishing offices but the entire office he just got chairs for never opened due to the pandemic so he was selling them on the side. I ended up giving it to my wife to use, but it was a hell of a deal. So there are decibel going to be resellers of various sorts for these chairs due to the disruptions caused by the pandemic, from actual stores to random dude's garages.
Interesting. I'd be in on one of those deals. Problem here, is I detect I am being told a story and they eventually start changing it. At that point, I don't trust them. I assume they are refurbished, and I can't tell the difference. I've never seen one of these darn chairs. I assume when Steelcase rejects one, they stamp it "refurbished" somewhere. But thanks for the light you shed on one of the possibilities of these reseller deals.

I ordered one but also looked up their reviews via Yelp... mostly negative experiences. I hope this transaction will turn out well.

I have 2 classic aeron that are fully adjustable. Its a nice chair but not life changing by any means like all of the youtube videos. If you have back pain before you got the chair most likely you are still having it after you get the chair to a lesser degree. They are built like a tank so I could see why they seem to last forever. The mesh is very nice and the tilting mechanism is awesome. However, I rarely use the forward tilting mechanism.

Yeah I haven't heard great things about Madison Seating. As far as online chair retailers go, I've had great experiences with Crandall Office Furniture with ordering parts and would tend to believe I'd have the same experience when ordering a chair.

I just heard about crandall today actually, apparently they had a big sale and it includes the full warranty on the steelcase chairs.
You don't want to buy a chair from Crandall. They have flashy marketing and lukewarm reviews--better reviews than Madison furniture--but ordering from Crandall is a big gamble.

First, lots of people have received slightly screwed up chairs from Crandall. Maybe the seat is uneven and tilted to the left. Maybe the arms are loose. Crandall does have a pretty good response time, but what's their resolution? Usually, they send YOU the part and YOU do the replacement. Go to Crandall's YouTube page and you'll find tons of videos on how to replace various parts on various chairs. Those are not there just to help the average person at home with a broken chair. These were MADE for Crandall customers experiencing issues with their chairs. If you fantasize about being a chair mechanic, Crandall might be the way to go. If instead you have real things to do and a real job, then Crandall might not be a great option. On the other hand, if you order from any of the MAJOR chair manufacturers or their authorized dealers, such as Herman Miller, Steelcase, or Haworth--these companies all understand that the people buying $1000 chairs have MUCH better things to do than work on a chair. They will send a mechanic to your house free of charge during the 12-year warranty period. Chair won't go up? Sure, we'll send a technician to your house to replace your part. If it were Crandall? Sure, we'll send you a cylinder, and you can figure out how to get the cylinder out the chair on your own time. You'll have to buy the tools to get the cylinder out ($10-50) and spend the time (10 minutes to easily days) to get the cylinder out. Look online and you'll find numerous stories about how people spent days hammering on their cylinder without being able to get it out.

Also, Crandall advertises "free returns." But this is NOT free. For one, Crandall sends you the chairs in a disassembled state. You HAVE to reuse their packaging to ship the chair back because it was designed to protect a 50 pound irregularly shaped object during transportation. If you use your own thin cardboard, and your chair gets smashed up on the way back to Crandall, you can kiss your money goodbye. So if you want to use Crandall's "free return" policy, you have to break the chair down to how it came. This means removing the cylinder. As discussed above--removing the cylinder is

1) Difficult

2) Probably not free, because you have to buy tools, unless you just happen to have a 14" pipe wrench lying around the house somewhere because you're a plumber or a professional office chair cylinder remover. Pipe wrenches are $10-30 depending on where you shop, not to mention the time and gas it takes to get to a Walmart or Harbor Freight or Home Depot or Lowe's. Also, you'll probably need a SLEDGEHAMMER in addition to the pipe wrench to get the cylinder out. Sure, a regular household hammer might work, or it might not work, depending on the chair. Plenty of stories of people failing to get their cylinders out with just a regular household hammer. So throw in an extra $10-30 on top of the $10-30 you just dropped on a pipe wrench for a sledgehammer. There you go, you're already $20-60 into the hole just trying to exercise the "free return" policy.

And again, companies such as Herman Miller understand that your time is much better spent in their chair and working and billing clients rather than playing mechanic with a chair. That's why Herman Miller/Steelcase/Haworth send you chairs that are 100% fully assembled. All you have to do is cut open the box and roll the chair out. And to return the chair, just roll the chair back into the original box and tape it back up. No disassembly or assembly required. No investment in tools needed either.

And Crandall prices aren't that great. $700 for a one-year-old "open box" Steelcase Leap V2. Yeah, look on Slickdeals and you'll see the Leap V2 go on sale regularly for $710 on Amazon, brand new, and with the factory 12 year warranty, not some crappy Crandall "warranty."
