With respect to phones TCL has 4% market share beaten by Lenovo, LG Samsung and Apple. So 5th place isn't exactly no-name https://www.canalys.com/newsroom/...ts-Q2-2020

The MPs mean very little. For good real (not Software artificially modified) low light pics and pics in general, an APC or bigger sensor in a dslr or mirrorless will blow all phones away including whatever Samsung, Apple etc put out.
The flagship phones are getting close in software modified picture quality.
The phone hardware is not close.
That said 90% of non photographers will be happy with the pics the phone snaps for them and don't mind an algorithm changing their exposure to something quite different then what it actually was.

Will the 48 MP camera gives pictures double the quality of 24 MP camera at least for close shots with 5 to 10 feet range? if so no one need to buy any SLR camera's

Doesn't Google require you to do like 3 months or more of their FI service when getting a discounted phone before you can drop their service?

I think you can find an unlocked 2020 Moto G Power for just under $200 vs 3x60 + $49 for the Google Fi option... plus you can't guarantee that they won't send you the crappier 2021 Moto G Power with the FI route.

Don't think you can sell it immediately since it has to be on contract for 24 months. They ain't simply just giving you the phone and you can do whatever you want with it.

Most of tmo deals are on EIP, and the trade in promos are monthly credits, so they replicate contracts in the event that you must reimburse the remaining prorated EIP charges of the phone on default or cancelation.

So you ought not to resell a phone on a promotional EIP else you will blacklist another individuals device if you default on your bill, and that is a dingdong move

Ahh, I see. I don't do ding dong moves like that, karma will repay me 2-fold. I've been with tmo since '16 and took advantage of the promo since I'm not planning on going anywhere.

I just setup my new Moto G Power hoping Moto has gone to better antennas. Nope. I'm in an At&t fringe area at my cabin right now and can't even hold a call. My S9+ and Huawei Mate SE have zero problems here with the identical sim. Moto's get horrible reception ever since the 5 series.
