The pods only seem to go on sale a few times each year. I just tried the Capmesso replacement foils ($13 for 100) to refill used pods, and they work quite well.

I like it. Coffee is not hot, but that's how I prefer it. Quality is really up there in terms of the coffee itself in the pods and the brew.

My virtuo broke within a few months of light use this year. It just stopped powering on no matter what. Customer service did not rectify. Bummed.

I love it. Have this exact machine. Really easy, but not the cheapest way to make coffee. It's much better than Keurig due to how it is brewed - the New York Times Wirecutter has a good explanation.

From my reading stay away from the Next model. Everything else is good. If you only want espresso buy the original line. If you want cups of coffee to then you have to do the vertuo model. Coffee isn't hot hot but if you run hot water through the machine first and into your cup then brew your pod it makes a big difference. I don't mind it without doing that step as I don't have to wait for it to cool down.

Go Read reviews from other websites. I've owned the regular, plus, and next. The next is much better and messes up less than the other 2. Next doesn't take up as much space either and does the same as the other two. Only issue is that it's loud.
