Never used a Bigsby before, are they a pain to keep in tune/restring at all?

Some people find restringing to be a PITA because there's a certain technique. Just do one string at a time and maybe try this method:

I use a rubber doorstop to help with the Bigsbys (-ies? lol) on mine. As for tuning, if you've stretched your strings enough you'll be fine. Don't forget a Bigsby is really just for vibrato rather than anything crazy.

Anythings a vibrato if you're brave enough.

The deal is still active but shows as $899. You have to add it to cart to see the $499 price.

Sure you could learn on it, it's a very well made guitar. But I wouldn't really recommend it for a true beginner. The vibrato takes time to get used to and might throw you off, and it is a bit of a "precious" guitar if you catch my drift. I'd recommend something simpler like an epiphone les Paul junior or strat or something like that. Something that can take a beating. Anyway, my two cents.

So tempted - got the Georgia green G5622t in 2019 from Adorama for $450 {50 bucks less on cyber monday versus black friday}. That model available after that sale price is now downgraded to a made in China versus Korea with lower quality pups. Great guitar - flawless for online unseen unplayed. If this price was the same for the blue or candy apple red I'd be buying two

Man I want to buy this so bad. I'm so scared of my wife though. Is this a good long term investment?
