If you want a good detailed comparison, 3dprinting subreddit has a pinned post of what to buy as a beginner with what budget
And I'll get it by Monday.
for example, would i get 1kg of prints form a 1kg of resin?

Just like FDM you'll have waste when you use supports and have failed prints.
I got my son the Creality CR-10 V2. It has been a fun machine!
A bit bigger with more options than the Ender. Lots of support online and easy to use.
He creates stuff in Sketchup, transfers to the Creality slicer then prints.
He make D&D models that come out great. He also did his final project for and architecture class with it.
What he is trying to say, is that with resin you use a lot more supports so waste a ton more material. I don't know if there is an exact way to compare, but I find I go through a lot more resin than I do with filament. So I print smaller more detailed based prints with resin, and larger ones with filament. In the end filament is a lot cheaper. With that said a google search shows that1kg of PLA as around 0.8 liters. Hope that helps somewhat.
