I heard the 12.9 has better display and more rams
Better display same RAM. 1 & 2 TB storage has more RAM for both display sizes.

I chatted with an agent. I asked if I was eligible for the $100 off $500 order and they immediately sent me a code. Less than two minutes all together.

I'm still debating on 256gb iPad Air 4 or this model 128 gb
I actually have the Air 4 64gb model, and between Dropbox and iCloud I haven't had a need for more storage. Just my 2 cents

You're right about this. Tried to get my AirPods fixed through Citi and gave me an extremely hard time with getting repair costs etc. I eventually did not purse my claim any further.
I'm gonna venture a guess and say that is probably be design, as it will get rid of all the people who don't want to make the effort and maybe even scare away a few who would have tried to defraud the warranty system.

In the end, it will save them a ton of money on processing warranty claims and all they have to do is come with some lengthy sounding process to make people give up.

Hell, even when I file for free PayPal return shipping costs and provide everything that I know they need, because I've done it before, they almost always email me asking for the exact documentation I already provided.

If I don't respond back, they can just deny the claim to save themselves the money and all it took was a generic copy/paste email.

Nope, especially if you consider additional $100 off. The 2020 Pro models never got a significant discount (except for Apple's education deal with free AirPod) until close to this new release. Also global chip shortage won't help with the supply either.
Are all types of Discover credit cards (I know it's a directed offer, but every type of Discover credit card) eligible for this? I don't have a discover but I could ask a relative...

Does anyone think this model will get any cheaper in the next two months?
Do you WANT or NEED it now?

What is the significance of 2 months? By July/September/Nov, what if the price might drop?

I experienced the same with Citi warranty claims. It was such a pain to get my claim approved but finally got it done. I screenshotted the warranty page and gave more information about the warranty on Airpods. But they made the process very difficult and impossible to get it approved. But I again did not give up and got it done

I will be starting medical school, I would prefer it in the next few months.
Tbh, I'm not sure if I'd like the 11 inch or 12.9 inch more anyways though. I have a 2016 Macbook Pro that is still running just fine.

Then you do not need it.

When/how much would one guess this would go down by, especially with this chip shortage?

As you know, this is tech. Price will come down, just a matter of time.

To me, tech is you want it now, or need it now.

While people were watching Plasma TV, I was still on XBR tubes. My first LED was a 70" at $1k.

Plus 12.9 is thicker in this gen for the mini led. Much heavier than 11 too
Weight isn't really as much of an issue as it once was. The 12.9 is 1.5 lbs and the 11 is 1 lb. heavier but not as significant as in the past.
