so, pretty much those extra 2Y citi warranty is useless. good to know.
Not useless, but you will have some paperwork to fill out. I had an SSD that went bad in a Dell PC. I had to buy a new SSD. They didn't require me to go through Dell. I bought it from another vendor, then had to fill out all this paperwork and take pictures. A little annoying, but in the end I got a credit through Citi.

got ipad pro 11, total with tax and shipping just under $700.
My wife almost bought ipad air from Apple with Magic Keyboard for $960 including tax, they are charging $300 for MK!
So for $50 less than the total from Apple she was about to pay I ordered the ipad Pro instead of Air and the MK from Walmart for $200 ( - 5% Capital One Walmart rewards).

Amazing. now to sell her old Macbook Air for a couple hundred bucks...

I bought a 10.5 Pro brand new for $300 a few years back. There is almost nothing about this that warrants another $450. I just don't understand how these inflated in price so much

Technically the third is 2018 considering 2016 9.7 was first, 2017 10.5 second, 2018 11 third.

Ordered the 11 inch Pro last night. With tax and coupon, it was ~$700 out the door. Figure I can get $200 for my 7th Gen. iPad, making this upgrade a no-brainer for me. Thank you!

MSRP for the 10.5 pro was $650 - the 11 Pro MSRP at $799 is a good value comparatively. Upgrades in screen, design, CPU, etc.

I mean the deals are…not really deals. We're talking about 50% off previous models vs at most like 15% now. I don't expect the 2021. version to be insanely discounted but I didn't see anything good on the 2018 or now the 2020 yet. Screen is basically unchanged, Touch ID may be preferable to Face ID in some use cases. It's an iPad so what does a faster processor even do.

So you got the 10.5 Pro new at launch for $300? Seems unlikely but good on you if true. I have purchased the last two 11 Pros at launch and they have never been discounted at all. At $150 off with the Costco coupon it is indeed a slickdeal.

Screen is basically unchanged, haha. Maybe you haven't noticed the improvement (since you don't own 11"), but I can guarantee you there is. Also the extra screen real estate makes side by side multitasking much more enjoyable. I have both 10.5" and 2020 11" sitting at home so I know what I'm talking about. Keep telling yourself that and just be happy with your 10.5".

I didn't get the $100 off email, so I didn't think to try. After seeing your comment, I gave it a go and got coupon through chat too. Thanks. Now just need a deal on the keyboard.
I am on their help/contact us page and the only options are call in numbers.
Could you share where the chat option on their page is?
