Just one jags opinion but I love the new iMac and think they intentionally retained the chin as part of its iconic design. I'm wondering if they'll actually remove it from the pros or just reduced its size. Kinda like the iPhone notch distinguishes it from all other phones.

But this isn't a deal if you have access to the Apple Military/Veteran store or much simpler their education store Smilie

That chin has functionality to it believe it or not. Yes, they could have reduced those bezels and made the back of it thicker to accommodate for a bezeless design. However, this is very much a mixture of a throwback to older mac styles while catering to general users. If you compared all in ones from the PC side there are many all in one pcs with huge chins. This style is very distinguishable and very much an Apple move. The rumored Pro version will probably be designed the way you want, but this design is far from terrible. You won't get an all-in-one pre-built desktop better than this, the m1 apple lineup is blowing the competition out of the water for general users and even pro users. You cannot beat their displays either.

one of the iMac's main selling point was easy upgradable RAM, M1 killed it. (Don't get me wrong, M1 is much faster and efficient), however, the locking of main components and excessive disk write in low RAM M1 model is not worth your bucks. That's why I always suggest getting a 16G model if you can or wait for the upgradable RAM solution for the M1 chip.

I'm super excited for this imac. My wife loves the baby blue front and I like the back blue! Pretty good marketing if u ask me! Coming from an all in one lenovo that is only 2 yrs old but is such garbage!!
