Costco has a 35-pint Hisense dehumidifier on sale from 4/30/21 to 5/27/21 for $99.99 shipped to your door.

https://www.costco.com/hisense-35...72888.html

Item Description:
The Hisense DH5020K Energy Star 35* Pint 2-Speed Dehumidifier quietly collects water into the slide-out internal bucket or can discharge the water via connecting a garden hose (not included) through the side of the cabinet. Reliable and eco-friendly this dehumidifier can operate at temperatures as low as 38°F. Easy control and the very low sound level make this a versatile choice. Additional features include an adjustable humidistat, easily accessible and washable filter, and full-tank alert.

There was another similar thread for the same model for $5 more, and this comes with Costco's satisfaction guarantee.

The 50 pint one was a much better deal. I reacted too slowly on that one. This one only covers 1000 sq. feet.

I'm holding out for that one too. I wonder if there are any advantages of this one though being smaller. Maybe quieter and simpler operation?

The DOE changed regulations and the newer 35 pint models are the same as older 50 pint models. I wanted the one you mentioned but it was OOS for basically the whole time. The big difference was it had a pump in it for the water

Don't forget to check your Utility company as well. In my local area in SE PA, we have PECO and they have $50 rebate, so it is only $50 after rebate.

For those that are on the fence, the web site saids 1000 sq ft, but the box states 3000 sq ft

Does it have pump so I don't need to empty it manually?

It does not have a pump, but it has a side drain hose discharge for those who have Condensate Pump on HVAC. I use this to pump the water to drain.

I've seen very poor reviews for these units due to them reportedly failing or not being reliable. What is Costco's warranty on these?

Seems like it's $90-$100 cheaper than other B&M stores that carry this model number.

Recently bought a small dehumidifier for our master bath, it's been really great. Hopefully this one will help with the whole home humidity alerts from the Ecobee.

I just bought one on wed 5/19. And the box does state 3k sqft. Not sure if it's an ad typo or a box label typo.

Can someone confirm if this model has auto start if it senses a certain preset humidity level? Or Wi-Fi plug to set it on a schedule

Yes you can set it to come on at desired humidity levels. It doesn't have wifi that I can tell but you can schedule it to come on at desired times as well.
