And the older-design Craftsman 20V Max tools and batteries are cross-platform compatible with the still-current Black & Decker 20V Max tools and batteries, and (after minor mod to batteries) Porter-Cable 20V Max tools as well.
No extra "battery adapters" needed. This is a giant pool of tools and batteries.
I'd be reluctant to invest a lot in the Craftsman V20 tool line. Craftsman has already effectively orphaned the "V60" tool line.
