This deal is $30.00 cheaper than the last deal that was posted at the Slickdeal with the price of $119.00.

Go Pro is offered with pick-up only at numerous different Walmarts at least in the Central IL area.

Important specs -
- 1920x1080 or 1920x1440 at 60 or 30 frames
- INTERNAL BATTERY, NON-REMOVABLE
- Decent electronic image stabilization
- Same form factor as other Gopro 7s but the lens cover is NOT replaceable.

My take - Great cheap 1080p action camera. Yes, it's not 4k so video/picture quality might be not as good as the 4k ones, but you get Gopro build quality with knock-off brand price.

I don't think for $90 you can get a similar quality camera even when you look at knock-off brand ones (even for image quality).

Latest phone will blow this camera away in terms of spec... even something like S10 would be much better than this.

But, it's an action cam, so I would say that's kinda beside the point. It's small, compact and durable so I would attach it to the helmet, car, bike, or somewhere I might not be comfortable attaching phone to.

At the moment I would say DJI Osmo Action is the camera to get. It's basically the same quality camera as GoPro 7 Hero Black, but at $179.99 with the front screen. It does lack a video overlay function (GPS, Speedometer), but it definitely bangs for the buck at the moment due to video quality. It's 4k 60 frames so I think it would be adequate for a while.

I do like GoPro 8's Costco bundle but I think Costco depleted their stock. My local one did not go all the way down to 279.99 or 269.99? (I don't remember the price) listed on the slick deal. (so I got DJI Osmo Action, I already had Hero 7 Black and owned session 4 before) GoPro 8's quality is better than 7 for sure, but I wouldn't say it's go sell your Hero 7 Black and get GoPro 8 level better.

Obviously, Go Pro 9 is good. But I always avoid the newest GoPro until their firmware and stuff are sorted out. In fact, I usually wait until the next generation is announced and snatch a discount.

ikr???? This was a deal-breaker for me. I would have bought it as a b-roll camera right away (I'm still debating) if it had a removable battery.

Just like phones, it depends on the model. But I think Osmo has a file size limit and Gopro overheats....

Yeah haha, but I've shot solid 10~15 minutes of 4k footage on both cameras... For my use case, it's not limiting. I'm not sure about more than that, I've never used it beyond that.
