What is the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program?
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is aFederal Communications Commission (FCC) programthat provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income households. If your household iseligible, you can receive:
Up to a $50/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals
Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
The FCC expects enrollment for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program to open later this month.It will end when the fund runs out of money, or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency, whichever is sooner.

SSI option
Edit--Have to call customer support as they have special agents that have to do the input for the program. Can't understand why the regular agents have no idea what it is to push you along to the people you need to talk to.

I tried to sign up but couldn't go past the captcha. I then tried to sign in and it said my account name was already in the system. So I tried to do a password reset. It sent me a link for password reset and of course I get the errror "Sorry, an error occurred or this page isn't available."
