What is the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program?
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is aFederal Communications Commission (FCC) programthat provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying low-income households. If your household iseligible, you can receive:
Up to a $50/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals
Up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
The FCC expects enrollment for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program to open later this month.It will end when the fund runs out of money, or six months after the Department of Health and Human Services declares an end to the COVID-19 health emergency, whichever is sooner.

today i get another email that says i'm not qualified through the National Verifier. Never heard of this. Go to the website and once i put in California, it directs me to another website that asks me for the pin number on the notice i received. Never got one....dont know where to go from here.

Went through the wiki post and realized that i hadn't done the verifier....went through and uploaded a w2 and initialed a bunch of stuff. Assuming that i'll get a confirmation when its approved....i wonder if i'll have to go back through the process with xfinity?
BUT it makes a nice news headline about how the current administration is helping those in need!! Haha.

It seems like alot of work to save a few bucks over 6 months. It's not even guaranteed.
If someone simply mined some crypto or churned CCs or even day traded some doge that would make way more with less effort
I was originally on their 100/100mbps for $55 and had the opportunity to get the mix & match 200 mbps for $40. What do you currently have from them, if I may ask?
