I love that the publisher must've discussed whether to boost sales by having the well documented game breaking bug fixed or having a massive discount on it, and they chose the latter.

Its only been out for a little over a month so they could also just be getting a bunch of fixes together for one big update, but who knows.

They take a 30% cut on digital purchases AND fleece devs for pushing an update? Gross.

Steam does not though so if it's still not patched on PC, that's on them. Source: I have published four steam games back in 2007 and since have patched them like five times to add things like updated resolutions and unlocked the FPS. I get less than 100 sales a year and they sell under 2 bucks so if it were to cost then I wouldn't have updated it. Just did it for fun/boredom.
Pretty sure the consoles still do though.
