The price is fine, but amazon had it cheaper, and Moto will not be supporting this phone with updates (it's 2+ years old now, and their update support is bad even with newer phones), so just be aware that you won't get updated. No 5g either.

My expert opinion is that this is not a good deal.

If you search for previous deals, they have been as low as $70 in recent months, if not $110.

Plus this phone will not be getting any further android version updates.

Nope. Mine upgraded to 10 right out of the box when I got it for $70 a few months ago.

The G7 Plus is decent, but for the same money, the Pixel 3 at the same price is a much better choice. I've owned 2 different Moto's and they are fine, but not up to Pixel performance, especially with regards to cameras, screen, and speaker quality of the Pixel.

Edit: just noticed the Moto does NOT have bands 66, 71 and that's a deal killer on T-Mo.

Is this not the regular street/real price for this phone? I think it was one of the phones many people bought during the Tracfone $100 Amazon/Venmo rebate deal last year: (https://slickdeals.net/f/14431031-amazon-100-unlocked-cell-phone-stack-promotion-0-01) and this particular phone has been $120 most of the time since then until now (it hit even lower prices at a few points and only $250 MSRP for a few days when they ran out of stock).

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GL2HKLT/ showing as $122.99, now. Just curious if I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing.

Thanks. I stand corrected. I just stated what BBY and AMZN stated.

Google says this phone came out in Feb 2019. So how much longer will it receive security updates? If only for 1 year, then that's not so good...

Decent mid-range phone, I have one of these as a backup and am pretty happy with it from the little I played around with it out the box.

$70 for a brand new unlocked USA model smartphone without going through any hoops? I don't think so.

From what I can see online, it appears that this phone is already end of life for security updates. So, not a good choice for the security-conscious. It appears that the moto g8 is going to be the next one to go: launched in Feb 2020, "Security updates will stop on February, 2022". The moto g7 isn't listed anymore...

I have one of these and it's a terrific phone for T-Mobile it has v o l t e and Android 10 works great. the only real issue is getting a case that fits the oblong camera.
Agree that it's a great phone, similar to the G power but slightly worse chipset and smaller battery, so it is much lighter and thinner than the G Power.

I have a Spigen case, the one that case a bit of carbon fiber on the top and bottom and it 100% was made for this phone.

I've seen comments before from people saying they couldn't find cases but anything that fits the g7 will fit this perfectly as they have the same exact design. I had both phones at one point and can confirm that any g7 case will fit on the g7 plus.

You're on SD, it's possible. I also scored on that deal.

that deal didn't last long, BB bungled the price. However IF it's the same phone then it does have 4G LTE Bands - 1, 12, 13, 20, 66, 71, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 25, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41

according to the wiki there. . And mine is running Android 10 too. The design of the rear camera notch and magenta power button may help determine if it's the same Best Buy Revvlry+ or not. The case I found works well but bulky. It's my backup phone on Tello so light use as a media player.
