The price is fine, but amazon had it cheaper, and Moto will not be supporting this phone with updates (it's 2+ years old now, and their update support is bad even with newer phones), so just be aware that you won't get updated. No 5g either.

My expert opinion is that this is not a good deal.

If you search for previous deals, they have been as low as $70 in recent months, if not $110.

Plus this phone will not be getting any further android version updates.

You got a great price! That almost certainly had to be a case originally from T-Mobile, since the retail packaging is labelled as it being for the REVVLRY+.

T-Mobile also sold a case from Speck for this phone.
Yes that seller kept jacking up the price every few days so I am very pleased that I was able to get a case that actually fits the weirdo phone's oval camera cutout.

Yeah moto let us down a few times, but their service back then was great, messed up one Moto E trying to install smaller sim using adapter and it ripped off the pins, they were willing to service it for free, but when they noticed boot loader was unlocked, they shipped it back to me.. Smilie

So what's a better phone to buy for those who are on budget?

What is the current version of Android on this? If it is 10 still probably be ok for someone as a second phone or kid or senior or to use as a loaner till you can get a better phone but with Android 9 many things like dark mode for theme etc are all missing
I bought it from Best Buy in November and it shipped with Android 10 already installed.

If you're on tmobile, use any phone as a tradein to get the samsung a32 5g for free. Or, buy it outright for $282, because it will get 4 years of security updates from the release on Apr 18 2021. Or wait until the price drops, which it will, because thousands of people are getting them free, and some large percentage will surely sell them on at a significant discount.

I have this phone. It has some terrible issues like it won't hang up for a few seconds to almost 1 minute. Calls don't send sometimes. Texts get deleted after a few months and the camera is horrible. Got it for $70 new and feel ripped off.

amazon renewed for $111, more feedback there for Revvlry+. Sometimes I find new features or specs on my phone months after I buy it. Wink T-Mobile REVVLRY+ Plus 64GB Moto XT1965-T T-Mobile Smartphone (Renewed) https://www.amazon.com/T-Mobile-R...B08H5SZKC9

I don't see warranty terms disclosed, but you're highly unlikely to get a warranty as favorable as you'd get with a new phone for only $8 more.

90day return from amazon is pretty painless but yes OP is a better deal. Mostly for reference on the unlocked Revvlry+ at Best Buy and I got this forum link there https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto...power_plus

my BB model is Model: PAFV0001US
SKU:6432489 with the oval cam lens, you can find out about cases at that link.

What point is there to buying this over a Moto G (anything) from 2020 or 2021
It's considerably cheaper specs-wise?

The G Power and G Stylus were just one clearance at Target for $75 dollars I doubt this is cheaper

Can't travel in time, sorry.
Plus, major YMMV in-store only, or as another poster described it here "jumping through hoops".

You are correct but that deal is long gone
Not sure if you're being facetious, because if that deal was still on, the Motorola G7 Plus mentioned in this deal would be about $20 if the rebate were still around.

However, this current deal is saying that $120 is the 'deal price', I was just curious why people are voting this deal up when it's pretty much the normal going price for the Motorola G7 Plus (which is what this post is about). I don't get why this deal is getting a lot of positive votes when it's basically the same cost every other day without a 'sale'.

$70 for a brand new unlocked USA model smartphone without going through any hoops? I don't think so.
Wait, are you trolling us right now? Just read this other post by you, but why would this be hard to believe? It's really easy to do a quick search.
https://slickdeals.net/e/14748683-64gb-motorola-moto-g7-plus-unlocked-smartphone-black-70-free-s-h?v=1

No jumping through hoops needed at that time. Both deals are dead, but both deals allude to this phone being $120 regularly.

It's a good deal, but two reasons I wouldn't do it: Unlike the G5 and G6, G7 Plus are not Verizon compatible. Also, SD card memory can't be adoptable as system memory.
Are you sure? I have the g7 play and it used the sd card as internal system memory
