I've been looking for a mattress deal, and my brother bought one of these
Beautyrest 12" Silver BRS900 Medium Mattresses [costco.com] a few weeks ago that my 6'-6" 240 lb. nephew is happy with. The Queen is $439.99, and the King and California King are $599.99. These all include delivery, set up, and haul away of your old mattress, plus they include the Costco backing of returns if necessary.
I'm not a Costco member, so they tack on their 5% surcharge for non-members. It's worth the surcharge to me to get the Costco take-it-back assurance.
These mattresses were showing out of stock in my area today, so I kept refreshing the page until late in the day when they were back in stock.

OP, you may want to consider getting a Costco membership. The 5% surcharge would put a significant dent in the cost of a one-year membership and I think would entitle you to price match protection from them as well.

PS: Macys doesn't seem to carry this anymore.
It's used as a fire retardant and it is used in a lot of cheaper mattresses. Mattresses sold in the USA must contain a fire retardant and many lower end mattresses use it because of its low costs. It is not something that you want in a mattresses. If the cover rips and fiberglass gets out of the case, it will cause a huge mess that you will never be able to fully cleanup. It is also really bad for you if it gets inhaled. It is something I would try to avoid in a mattress.
