i cant figure out how to properly adjust the brakes and get them to center. there doesn't seem to be any mechanism to force them to center over the wheel, it seems like it just wiggles no matter what
now i need to bring it to a bike shop

Great bike overall. My wife rode it the other day and likes it better than the Walmart Schwinn with disc brakes we bought a bit after this one. Seat is much more comfortable on this. Hers has more gears though. Not really needed in Florida I guess.
Definitely takes some fine tuning on both the brakes and the shifter - seems like one of the middle gears (4?) rubs something awful out of the box but will likely differ with each bike.

Turned out the front wheel was bent from the box getting banged around in the store. It was the last one around, and I didn't want to return it and end up with nothing, so I contacted Infinity.
They mailed me another front wheel and tire at no charge, without me even providing proof of purchase.
The bike is easy to put together and provides a decent ride. It didn't even need a tune-up until after about 200+ miles.
I threw a $20 wired computer on it, a small bluetooth speaker, and bigger Bonmixc pedals. I had a great couple of summers with it.
The (very comfy) saddle started coming apart after a year, so I called Infinity again to see if I could buy another, since I really loved the comfort of their saddle. They simply offered to send a replacement out to me free of charge once again. I've never encountered customer service as good as Infinity's.
When I wanted to get more serious about cycling, I got a Specialized Crossroads and swapped saddles, since the brick that came with the Specialized is a crime against humanity's asses.
To be sure, there is a very obvious difference in handling and smoothness between the bikes, but also a large price gulf.
The Infinity is very good for infrequent riders, or people just curious and looking to find out if cycling is for them. If you're on the fence, buy it. With support from both Infinity and Costco, you cannot go wrong.
