I was at Costco today and noticed they brought this bike back to the store after it disappeared around April of last year. It was $215 last year during the pandemic. I sat on the display model and it felt comfy. This is not sold online at Costco website.

Bought this for my kid a month ago. Decent bike for the price. Assembly was easy, the only problem was getting the front brakes not to rub. Finally got them to be OK after some fiddling. Comes w/ a kickstand which is nice.

my wife had hers knocked over a few weeks back (it's an older version from costco)
i cant figure out how to properly adjust the brakes and get them to center. there doesn't seem to be any mechanism to force them to center over the wheel, it seems like it just wiggles no matter what

now i need to bring it to a bike shop
Their site has a PDF on assembly (95%) that might help.
Thanks this post made me motivated to find a YouTube video and I figured it out. Woohoo for 11pm bike fixes!
Huh, mine does the same thing. I kept adjusting it until I thought it was ok, but last time I took it out I realized it got loose and the front brake doesn't brake. Do you have the link to the video you found? I kept watching repair tutorials when I first bought this and really don't want to go down that endless video spiral again
Great bike overall. My wife rode it the other day and likes it better than the Walmart Schwinn with disc brakes we bought a bit after this one. Seat is much more comfortable on this. Hers has more gears though. Not really needed in Florida I guess.
I bought this bike around this time last year - great entry level bike, 7 gears, seat is comfy, and the front wheel comes off for extra mobility if needed. Took it on a 20 mi ride around Jersey City where there were lots of inclines. The derailleur on mine is a little funky though where it sometimes doesn't switch gears properly between 6 and 7. I probably need to tinker more with adjusting it or take it to a local shop to get serviced. This is the trade-off when you buy a bike from big box as opposed to a local shop though. Great bike if you're just getting into it!
This is a really good bike for the price. I bought this almost a couple of months ago when it randomly showed up at our Costco. I definitely recommend.
Bought one for my wife - she likes the style and the upright seating on this one vs typical road or mountain(ish) bikes. We had to return one as the wheel bearings broke loose, but the 2nd bike we got is holding together fine. I think the $220 is a fair price but not a steal as it is a bit heavy, shifting mechanism is wonky, brakes are meh at best, etc. but if you can get 2-5 years out of it, its probably worth it.
Definitely takes some fine tuning on both the brakes and the shifter - seems like one of the middle gears (4?) rubs something awful out of the box but will likely differ with each bike.

You can call your local store and they can check the stock for you.
