We have both of these! At first we thought it was kind of lame. But now it's a nightly staple for our 16 month old who deliberately picks one of these two books out of multiple choices.

We have DADA and also thought "this sucks", but now the kid is approximately that age so we'll give it another shot.

I know Children's books aren't exactly complex novels, but Your Baby's First Word Will be Dada was really crappy. Not a real story, no cohesive themes to teach your kid, or even fun quotable lines.

I got mine as a gift but definitely wouldn't buy, even for $5.

My baby learned to say dada early on thanks to this book, but as he got a few months older, he only says mama now....

When we ask "where is Dada?" he just points to the book.
