I can't believe that I actually bought a few of these recently, at my age. Of course my Amazon digital promo credits were about to expire and I couldn't think of anything else to use them on. And I was in the first generation of Star Wars fans.

Btw, most of these are somewhat outdated, having come out before TROS, The Mandalorian season 2, and The Clone Wars season 7. Which I assume is why they're on sale.

That said, some of these have pretty incredible and detailed diagrams, images and cross-sections of SW universe vehicles and spacecraft.

Is there no way to do side by side pages in Kindle? Tried in both the PC and Android apps. Inability to view the full page spreads really kills the DK cross-section books for me.

I purchased the visual dictionaries and the google play PDF versions are completely screwed up. Some pages are totally unreadable.

Any of these better than the others? I'd like to grab one or two, but I'm not sure which are best.

That's upsetting. I remember reading magazines side-by-side on a Kindle tablet app. This was a long time ago and it would be unfortunate if this feature went away.

I recall that you had to turn it landscape for it to do this however.

These books have wonderful COLOR illustrations on large format pages, how are you going to see them on tiny black and white Kindle screen?

Yes, it is misleading. Amazon calls their full-color tablets "Kindle" as well. Also, you can read and view digital media using their Amazon Kindle application on (I would risk to say most) tablets.

You can change the font, making almost any book LARGE print for older readers, those with disabilities and often pinch-zoom full-color media to see a lot of detail.
