They are a Ryzen 3500 (6-core) with a GTS 1650 Super. A 1650 Super is roughly twice the graphical performance of a 5700G.

It looks like Walmart's website sells out of these very quickly and only 3rd party sellers are listed there. But if you can find them at your local store they are sold for $599.

I am thinking that GSKILL requires 1.35v voltage and this mobo only runs at 1.2v. So, I ordered another stick of 1.2v 16GB 3200 TEAMGROUP TED416G3200C2201 to see if that will work at 3200. Fingers crossed. I suspect that would bump up graphics even higher.
I have a different HP prebult and I was able to set a mismatched set of stock 8gb stick (rated 2666 I believe) and a 3200mhz stick of crucial to 3200mhz.
I just left the timing to auto and bumped up the speed.
It's probably very bad timing, but it is stable.
The CPU itself will work on any motherboard that supports the 5700G. Double check the motherboard's compatibility list since the 5700G is such a new CPU.
The stock HP motherboard will not easily work with a standard atx/mATX case. The HP motherboard is custom so it doesn't meet the atx/matx standard sizing. The mounting holes will likely not line up and obviously the front panel ports will be useless in a full size case. The motherboard doesn't have any front panel headers so you'll have to make your own (not hard to do for power switch, but will be very difficult for the usb ports).
If you can wait, do so..

Why on earth would you be bummed about that? That just means you can add a 2nd 16gb stick without having to toss the old memory into a box! I'm not a gamer and just want a fast desktop that won't be outdated the day after I buy it. I'm still rocking an old i7 4th gen and keep hoping to find a killer deal on a "server pc" maybe even without os since I'm gonna put linux on it anyway.
Ahh the good old days when you could pick up a dell 400sc for $299 which was ultra expandible...for example had both IDE AND sata ports which at the time was a big deal.

16GB is plenty for most tasks so a 2x8gb would be better for most people so they don't have to buy another stick of memory for capacity they don't necessarily need.

Good explanation....luckily I planned to max out the memory anyway....I'm debating....a nearby store has 1 in stock....I can get 5% back on a business credit card I have AND I have an amex offer that says "Spend $500 or more and get back $25 [up to 10 times]" which would more than cover tax. I'm a little bummed it doesn't have a display port to support 4k but I rarely watch TRUE 4k content. I did read through the thread and saw the power supply issue but I don't see it as applicable since I'm not a gamer. Does anyone see an issue I'm missing? Did anyone find a good deal on a 16gb memory stick that matches the existing memory?
The ssd capacity is a bit low at 256gb in my opinion, but if may be enough for your usage.
The only only other drawback is the more proprietary parts so it'll be more hassle to diagnose and fix if a part malfunctions.
I still think it's worth it for non-gaming uses. You're unlikely going to be able to build/find another system with this processor at this price.
