Travelers who obtained their COE prior to May 1, 2021 and arrive before May 6, 2021 will be quarantined for 7 or 10 days depending on their vaccination status.
While undergoing quarantine, travelers will not be allowed to engage in leisure activities. Travelers will only be allowed out of their rooms for mandated COVID-19 testing.
For non-Thai nationals, a Fit to Fly certificate will be no longer required. However, a medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, using the RT-PCR method, issued no more than 72 hours before departure, is still required. Thai public health regulations require that travelers who test positive for COVID-19 while in quarantine be transferred to a hospital for follow-up treatment and testing.
