For the money, the parallel bar clamps seem to be decent enough.... Made in Taiwan, they appear almost identical to the Woodtek clamps sold by Woodworker's supply. If you are used to Bessey and some others, you may not care for the pin deal when clamping that kind of requires two hands to operate.

The 12" K5000 have been a couple dollars cheaper on Amazon pre-Christmas, while the more popular 32" in the K-Series is now out of stock at Woot.

I have these and DeWalt ones. Yost has better clamping force and smoother sliding actions. DeWalt feels better in hand. I find myself using DeWalt more than the Yost.

I own many makes and models of parallel clamps. The Yost K5000s are the lowest grade of all of them. HOWEVER, they are totally fine for light and medium duty work where you want large parallel jaws. I like how light they are. Just... They are no where near as good as Jet or Bessey. But that's fine, for the money.
