I'd buy two of these but that still keeps the total .76 below free shipping. They don't count tax in your purchase total.

I don't have the one for sale now but I do have the sc18 and it was in a sale recently (sofirn always is) and these 2 lights are probably not unique to need the smaller and weaker AA light. The obvious benefit is slightly smaller size and ability to use common aa batteries.

I got the sc18 for 13 or 14 shipped and i think its a fair value light with poor color but it came with a battery which is almost half the price...

Is the HS40 a flood or spot? it doesn't mention on their website although someone commented "flooded their yard".

I wish these came in the different colors. I particular want the green. But this is the sweet spot at this price..

A great AA light made even better with opensource Anduril firmware. Toy Keeper and GChart deserves more credit for their role in this light.

LOL, yeah unfortunately my old 4D "self defense" mag light hasn't really been used in years. It was my go to flashlight back in the day, but LED's and Lithium Batts took the crown away a long, long time ago. Now if I ever get attacked by a pack of ninjas, unfortunately my little sofrin EDC isn't gonna help me out anywhere near like the old 4D maglight would.Wink
