Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose
Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.
For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

I have a A71 5g from T-Mobile on EIP plan. Can I pay it off and use the same device as a trade in as well? hope I won't be losing the device credit on A71 (hopefully moves to account level) and get the new device credit of IPhone at the line level). can anyone confirm
Yup. Pay off the EIP and you will still get the bill credits on that line. You can now start a new EIP with this offer. The EIP will show as completed. I did it for the S21 promo months back. I paid off an S20 and I'm getting both credits on 1 line.

I called Costco and they told me they could also do this deal, but it was the same as you doing it on the website: still the bill credits and it is drop shipped. Not worth the trouble.

Which deal do you SD think it's better:

I bought 2 iPhone 8 for trades.

Trade in 2 of IPhone 8 for iPhone 12 pro max?

Or
Trade in 1 iPhone 8 for iPhone 12 pro max and 1 iPhone 6 for an iPhone 12 mini?

Prepaid card in mail I believe. He said something about it coming via email too. It's not through tmobile though so definitely not 24 bill credit
Did he give you a new iPhone or you have to wait for the UPS delivery?

Thanks.

Anyone's know if this will work on a Sprint Kickstarter account? I pay $15/month for that account.
Replying to my comment. Tried to go through the process and it says Kickstarted does not allow financing and you would have to pay in full.

Is there a waiting period between paying off the prev device and the purchase of new device? Does the discount pass on smoothly?

I'm currently at Costco doing this deal- if you do the deal here you save on activation fees and get $30 shop card per phone. Only catch is that they order the phone and you have to mail in the device still instead of in person trade in.
Yeah, YMMV. I see no huge benefit going to Costco for this deal. You're still locked into 24 months, still have to ship the trade-in phone to the Assurant clowns, and wait for delivery of the iPhone to your home.

Chatting with T-Force usually results in them waiving shipping and service fees. I realize that Costco offers $30 rebate card, but I will gladly forego that to avoid interacting with the Wireless Advocate morons, waiting at the kiosk forever, as well as avoiding the drive to Costco, and the weekend crowds there.

Are you sure about that? If it's direct delivery which means the phone is mailed out to you, that means you will get 24 bill credits. Not the pre paid card.

I only see these deals "iPhone 12 Get one on us with every plan" and "iPhone 12 Now in purple.
Perfect for Mom. On us."..... One require new line while other require port in.

I did it thru the upgrade wizard. I had to pay the remaining $450 on my A71 5G. I've gotten confirmation on this thread that it should be fine and last year I upgraded my Pixel 3A to the 4A 5G and paid off that Pixel 3A early before trading it in. No issues with the bill credits remaining on my account.

I went from the 11 to the 12 mini. It was a shock even though I had the iphone 6 for about 5 years prior to the 11. The 12 mini is tiny. I miss the screen real estate of the 11

Got in to the other tmo deal where i got a free samsung a32. I'm still in the 'return' period. I have an iphone xr fully paid and i want to get into this deal. Can i return the samsung a32, pay the restocking fee, and get into this promo? I fear that there will be EIP credit complications along the way…
