Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

So I bought a couple of iPhone 12 phones during the recent Mother's Day promo with the intent to flip them after paying paying off both phones in full, and then unlocking after 40 days. My account already shows that the first monthly bill was charged, and I already received trade-in credit.

Does anyone know if I have to open the box of the new iPhone 12 to qualify for the unlock? I would prefer to sell the phones sealed new in the box. It's not a big deal if I do need to open the phone and activate it for use, but I'm wondering if I can leave it sealed and sell it that way without causing any account issues.

there are mixed answers regarding that.
Some customers leave them sealed and get it unlocked successfully while a few have posted that the unlock does not work until it has an active SIM card.

So am I not understand how things were done here or did I get a bonus? I had an issue and the rep had to manually add the promo to my account. Prior to the phone trade in, my order was iphone 12 128gb, I paid the difference between the 64 and the 128gb (plus tax) as a down-payment, and it was showing $830 balance with full bill credits. Now that my iphone 8 processed, my account has a negative $79 balance. Should my bill credits have been $751 and then the $79 would have made up the difference?

79 is the trade in value of your iPhone 8. The remaining amount will be bill credits for the next 24 months

I think you got a bonus. When the rep added your promo manually, it's marked as full 830 credit. So you got $79 bonus. It happened to me on one trade-in promo last year.

u still hv to wait 40 days after activation. u can activate today. then take out sim card. after 40 days up. put sim back in iPhone then call T-Mobile to unlock it.

edit: logged into TMobile account and save the notice that the trade in is completed. apparently USPS never updated the tracking even though it is delivered. what a shitty system.

My package has been stuck at Dallas distribution center since 5/25. Has anyone experienced this type of delay? I contacted USPS and awaiting on the status.

USPS has been lacking since 2020. I lost several sale of pricey things (over thousands of $$$) due to over 1 month shipping delay, and the buyers cancelled the sale. It is not just POS system, there is insufficient men/women power to handle the shipment. Shipped item 40 mils away, took 3 weeks to get there. blah blah blah..

Even on items which were eventually delivered, USPS still told me they were still looking for the package SMHConfused

Anyway for this post, i shipped mine on the 22nd, delivered on the 25/26th, one phone was credited today, the 2nd I am still waiting.

LEWISVILLE, TX 75067 On May 27th... After that no update : ( .. i do not know what to do. I tried calling USPS ... No live person to pick up the phone.
