Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

I traded in my Galaxy S20+ to get the iPhone 12 deal

Monthly payments for the iPhone 12 would be about $35 per month. Initially, it says I get $20 off from the trade in deal so I would pay about $15 per month.

Assurant just received my phone and the assessed value is $335.

Would this $335 be applied to the current financing to get me down to $1.00 per month? Is this how it's supposed to work?

$35 - $20 (initial trade in) - $14 (additional assessment) = $1.00 per month

$335 is one time credit which will be applied to your service bill or EIP device balance. You will also be charged for $14/mo on your monthly bill for this part. The remaining $20/mo (($830 - $335) / 24) will be charged and credited ($0 to pay) on monthly bill.

Long story short, I haven't sent my trade in yet and today is day 31 from the day Tmobile shipped my new phone.

Has anyone in the past missed the 30 day deadline but still received the credits?

Also, the Tmobile website under order status states send the trade in by 30 days of the phone shipping date, however I received a text from Tmobile that says don't forget to send back the trade in phone within 30 days of receiving the new phone (which would still give me a few more days).

I guess I'm still going to try sending it in as their T&Cs state that if they don't accept, I can have them send back the phone. I was just trying to see if anyone had any first hand experience sending in after 30 days.

TIA

T-mobile should have sent you a text and/or email with the updated deadline date for your submission based on when your new phone was delivered. Perhaps you are still within the approved time frame to mail it and don't know it.

If you miss the deadline date, it is up to T-Force to grant an exception to any denial. Typically they will still allow it if it gets denied for a legit (or one that appears to be "legit") reason, but it is not a guarantee.

If it were me, I would mail it immediately. It will probably still pass muster and be approved, especially since USPS and Assurant are backlogged anyway. If it does eventually get denied for being mailed past the deadline, contact T-Force and tell them you had a personal or family emergency that prevented you from mailing it prior to the deadline date. Ask for a one-time exception. If it doesn't work with one rep, try others until it does get approved.

I got the S20+ for $200 and I wouldn't have been able to get $830 on ebay. Trading it was a better value

you can buy a s9 $150 (I did that).
Sell S20+ for $500. So you still get the iPhone 12 with $350 cash in pocket.

I got this deal, but haven't used my iphone 12 pro max, yet, because I wonder if I should get a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, due to better 5G. I understand pictures and processor is better on iphone, but I would have to live with gimp 5G for the next few years.

If I sell the iphone 12 pro max, what do you think I could get for it, being T Mobile locked?

How much would an unlocked S21 ultra or T Mobile one run me?

Q: to pay off the phone early, do you simply pay more on your monthly bill?

What if the current monthly bill is already "credit" balance?

First time doing this monthly bill/credit thing, so TIA
