Not sure why the deal shows only the white/blue perhaps that was all that was in stock in the OP size?

I was just able to grab 1 of each color in a size 9 medium. For some reason had to place separate orders in order to be able to add to cart on the iPad.

I have been running in brooks glycerine for over 10 years and find them much more comfortable and cushioned than Adidas Ultra boost. They are not built for speed or trails but are great for pavement 5K and up with no joint or muscle soreness the next day.

Jackrabbit is a legit site. Almost all of my running shoes come from them. They've always been easy with returns as well though it can sometimes take a day or two to get a response (at least during Covid).

As for Brooks, they're a top of the line brand for running shoes IMO. The Glycerins are their most cushioned version. They're going to be way more cushioned than Nike Frees which are much more on the minimalist end.

Sorry mate, never worn ASICS. All I can say is a usually don't wear a wide in any shoe but had to for Brooks Glycerin and Adrenaline.

I would go with the same size unless you like a really snug fit for running. You can go to Dicks to try on if you have one local.

I just ran this morning in ASICS Gel Nimbus and I wear the exact same size 9M. Like the PP stated the brooks Adrenaline are snug and I find them bulky but these shoes glycerin 18 I find roomier than the previous versions 15,16 and 17. I have not tried the 19s yet. Also these 18 are super cushioned neutral and may not be for you if you like a firm feel on contact with the ground.

I agree. I switched from Nike to Brooks Ghost two years ago after trying them in the store.
I'll never go back. I just received another pair two days ago. Ordered direct from Brooks....full price but more then worth it.

Looks like return shipping isn't free, which kills this for me. I've never tried this model and sizing is always a gamble.
How does size and comfort compare to brooks transcend? I have those and really like side to side stability they provide.

My experience with Brooks is true to size. For running it's advisable to get half size bigger than your regular size though. For example I wear 11 for my dress shoes and 11.5 for my running shoes. I'm not looking back to any other show after I started wearing Brooks. Glycerin and Ghost are amongst the best for training runs if your have a normal pronation and don't need stability shoes.

Same here. Got a black toenail from a marathon when I first switched to glycerin (even after a month of breaking them in)
