This is such a bargain. I was going to buy an 11 key keyboard for 200$ but this is 8 x the keys for less money.

This, they're similar in most aspects, but this piano sounds better and it has a real foot pedal with it.

At this price no brainer, get the es110. Do remember with es110 you will need a midi to usb adapter to connect to tablet/ pc apps.

If you really like the p125 sound though, that could still make the difference for you personally.
Uh Bluetooth Midi?

Anyone have a recommendation for a piano stand for this? Preferably something solid/stable, not necessarily portable.

Have you ever used BT midi ? it's laggy and very inconsistent between the various devices.

This or the Korg B2?
Either one is a good value at their sale prices. Electronically they're quite similar.

Mechanically the es110's action is a bit more robust at the joint. That may or may not be worth $200 more to shoppers.

The es110 (RHC action) uses a barrel hinge, whereas the korg B2 (NW) and yama P45/P125 (GHS) use living hinges.

The barrel hinge is better for durability and consistency over time. But as long as you keep these machines cool and out of the sun, there shouldn't be any issues.

Both types will need lubrication over time like any mechanical joint.

I played this at a friend's house for few years. Friend is a pro and i am beginner-intermediate. Recently bought Korg B2 and pkaying over 2 weeks now. My take; Kawai has very different and mild tone compare to Korg that requires good pedal and finger hammering control whereas Korg sounds just right even if you lake finger strength. The speakers in B2 itself are worth the price, it sounds so full that keeps motivating beginners. Hammer action on Kawai feels much better but if you practice in any Piano you will surely overcome any shortfall in action.
Kawai has more instruments but I purely play Piano hence B2 is sufficient for me at my level.

Just my 2 cents.
We have to get a keyboard to replace our baby grand for our 9 year old to practice on, is there a best option in this price range to best mimic the feel and sound of piano keys?

Don't want to spend too much since this is just for 3 years, $600 is ok.

Depends on the OS. Windows in notorious for audio latency which is why most audio tools recommend using ASIO drivers instead of Windows WASAPI. I've experienced this even with wired connections.

iOS and Mac devices have been seamless using the Yamaha BT01 adapter or a newer Kawai with built-in BT.

The action on this piano beats the P-125 by a mile -- a LONG mile. Not even close.

I tested the P-125 out at Guitar Center and it was atrocious. It's sad how badly Yamaha has cheapened out on their quality. The action is just horrid. My old Yamaha P-140 blows it out of the water.

My daily driver is a Kawai VPC1. Buy the ES110 and go with the M-Audio midi to USB cable (Not the cheap one's on Amazon).

This is true. Latency on PC can certainly be an issue even when wired, let alone adding Bluetooth. It inherently has latency. Would strongly advise against BT for anyone looking to study piano repertoire.

How would this compare to a Casio Privia PX-160?

I agree the RHC is a bit better, but it's not as dramatic as McDohl is saying.

The RHC has a longer pivot length, more even resistance front and back. It is better for sure, but nothing Mega-Wow. laugh out loud

The store model GHS are also treated harshly, and IDK if they lube it, so it could be clacky.

Well if you want F701, then you'd swap for an ES520 or 920. nod

I think the Korg c1 and g1 are really overpriced and dated for this bracket.

I pre-ordered 920 at B&H in December and still waiting
